just a question: if you are still jws (for any reason, many just can`t leave because their entire families are wrapped around it, etc), but don`t believe in it, and lead a "double life", how do you cope with going door to door?
i just can`t imagine how it must feel like to go out there and try to tell people at the doors or in the streets things you know are just bs!
how do you deal with that?

Heh~! The laundromats at apartments I've lived in sometimes had like 10-15 dub books left on the table(s) inside. Now I'm thinking there's a great chance someone wrote that off as a couple or so hours of field service.

Wow - what a sad, sad little snippet of the JW world...They are on a witch hunt. Maybe if they focus on who they think is an apostate and who is inactive, they won't have any time to notice that they are wasting their lives in a worthless cult...
No doubt~! I'm a guitarist and have thought about getting a myspace.com or soundclick.com account and now may get one if there's a way to communicate back to these dubs and see if they can be wise as doves in answernig some questions; and I never was a witness. My wife was, and she was treated like crap for a long time. Now when she feels fear from time to time about wondering if the WT was right about at least some things, I just direct her here and the freeminds site to quickly give her assurance that they're so wrong it's hard to find what they're right about all.

No doubt. I mean, I can understand why people would want to live forever if they felt their lives and everything else was going to be sweet. But as a (very admittedly superbly far from perfect example of a) Christian, the one thing that's kept me alive many times is the belief in an eternal hell and not knowing whether suicide would cause one to be sent there or not.
I just don't see how a JW can read the parts about hell and get that there is no hell from it, but that's just my opinion.

I haven't read that in a while, but I don't recall reading anywhere where God approved of it but rather that the situation helped to ultimately lead to the Genesis flood. There may be another verse that would come closer to what you're implying, but I don't think this one does at all. Peace.

I heard the first one, Power and Glory, and really liked it. It's not my style of music (I play a mix of rock, blues, metal, etc. mixed with elements of classical and jazz on guitar), but it sounded really good to my ears. I know I'm missing something here, but I'm happy to see anything that has a chance of putting a hurt on the idiocy of the WT and potentially at least helping to keep innocent people from losing their lives and the lives of loved ones due to such an idiotic policy. But Raymond Franz raises questions about the blood policy in his book "In Search of Christian Freedom." Among them: _Why forbid a patient's own stored blood yet permit components derived from large amounts of donated and stored blood? _Why allow organ transplants, which introduce far more foreign white blood cells than transfusions? _The Witnesses forbid plasma, which is mostly water, but allow the components in it that provide therapy. So what's the point of banning plasma?
